Kettenfraftrad

by: Paul McMahon

This vehicle had a few scratch built additions, namely the gear control was replaced by some fine brass rod and the knob made from a rounded bolt head. The stick guard was made from fine brass wire. The two vertical posts on the mid section beside the engine cover are plastic rods topped with a Model Kasten wing nut with the square base made from thin plastic and detailed with four rivets/bolts.

Painting was done with Tamiya XF-60 Dark Yellow with X-22 Clear Gloss added. This mixture was lightened with the addition of Tamiya White.
Decals used were the ones included in the kit. Some light washes were applied using Mig Washes. Some Mig Pigments were added for dust and light mud effects. Ground work is plaster powder mixed with some sand debris and white glue coloured with various shades of Tamiya Earth and Buff etc.
