Wespe

Here is the Bandai Wespe using 1/35 Panzer I tracks from Master Box.  The fighting compartment was corrected by adding a spare Iron Division resin radio with Tamiya headphones on the left side.  I also replaced the shovel with the gun cleaning poles and made and attached the exhaust on the rear.  Most of the stowage is from the Black Dog SdKfz22 set, with additional bits from the Tamiya, Wespe, and Bandai (the large crate) form the spares box.  The complete four man external crew figures are from Tamiya and easily fit with plenty of spare room.  The base coat was Tamiya dark yellow sprayed from the can.  I also used Tamiya decals since the original Bandai ones easily tore or folded onto themselves after wetting.  The name (Lt. Lappe was a WWI A7V tank commander) was applied with a Pilot fine tip permanent ink pen.  Washes and chips were done with acrylics, weathering was done with oils, and a few final filters of very thinned flat craft paints finished it off.
