The Studebaker played an essential role in helping the Allies win the second world war. This conversion, designed for the Tamiya kit, allows modelers to quickly construct the more common closed cab model. The closed cab model was also produced and used by other countries such as Russia. The closed cab Studebaker was popular with many other Allies including the Chinese. The major part of this conversion is the entire frontal cab, hood and fenders flawlessly molded in one piece. A photo-etch set containing fine details such as a windshield frame and one piece grill is also enclosed. An interior is incorporated containing a photo-etched dashboard.
